The Lions Club of Huon thanked the Huon Valley businesses and the community who supported the Christmas parade and festivities on Saturday, November 29.
There were bubbles, decorations and many, many children, both on floats and as spectators as the parade snaked its way from the Ranelagh Showgrounds to the Huonville PCYC.
Everyone of all ages enjoyed themselves and the appearance of Santa was a hit.
The weather held.
The amount of people who participated in the event was somewhat under-estimated; children’s tickets and raffle tickets ran out, and the lines for ice-cream were lengthy, but tidings of comfort and joy prevailed.
