School holidays suddenly got a lot brighter for some Huon Valley children who were lucky to attend the Power of the Bricks expo at Huonville Library on Thursday, April 20.
Power of the Bricks is a Hobart-based Lego User Group that set up exhibitions around the state made up of their members’ work and displays.
President of Power of the Bricks Marcus Vanson said that it was a great opportunity to show children that Lego can be more than a game.
“We try to move past the idea in the group that this is a toy,” explained Marcus.
“While kids definitely get a lot of joy out of it, there’s also an opportunity to improve your skills and make bigger and better things; there’s definitely an art to it.”
