After over 40 years at the helm of the Southern Spinners and Craft Group, Marlene James of Castle Forbes Bay has retired from her role as President and handed the reins over to Lynette Evans of Port Huon.

Marlene was presented with beautiful flowers by the group members as a token of their appreciation.

The group has been active, from the early days when they met in the Mess Room at the Port Huon Wharf, to other spaces such as the Castle Forbes Bay Cricket Club Rooms, to their current home at the RSL in Geeveston.
