In its annual event, the Huon Hoofbeats riding group based in Mountain River invited some slightly smaller animals on to its grounds for the Doggy Gymkhana event.
Both dogs big and small went head-to-head in the arena in a variety of events and courses, including the parade, obstacle course, best trick, highest jumps and games.
While some dogs showed their competitive streak, most enjoyed a day of socialisation, with the best of the best rewarded with recycled horse ribbons and treats for prizes.
