Image: A visit from Santa proved popular for local families, with a line stretching out and around Glen Huon park.
On a warm, sunny evening, the Carols in the Park event took over the Glen Huon Oval on Saturday, December 3, families and friends spreading over sprawls of green lawns to enjoy festive tunes.
Locals were also treated to donkey rides, food vans and a visit from the main man in the red suit, which proved popular with the younger crowd.
While a minor mishap with one of the rides may have spooked some of the children on the day, performances by the Daystar Duo, Glen Huon Primary School, Alan and Peter Show and the Huon Valley Concert Band kept all entertained.
