Image: Left, owner of Reba Sear Edwina Kidd and partner Brad Kitto celebrate the first birthday of Reba Sear café.

An event space, gift shop, café and hotspot for all things local.

Reba Sear could not have crammed more into its first year of business if it tried.

Friday, September 9 was the first-year anniversary for the Huonville store, with owner Edwina Kidd expressing her excitement and pride in what has happened at the café and what is to come.

“Everyone was really happy with the celebrations, and it was a great night,” Edwina expressed.

Reba Sear, a culmination of Edwina’s family names, Rebecca, Edwina, Bronwyn, Alexander and Sear an homage to Edwina’s grandmother’s maiden name, gives a hint of what inspired Edwina to open the café in the first place.
