Home Hill Winery in Ranelagh held the night of nights for the culinary-inclined on Friday, April 22, with an event of fun, all for a good cause.
A Degustation dinner and auction, organised by Mitchell Plastic Welding, was one of the latest Hope in the Huon fundraisers; a fundraising initiative transforming mental health outcomes and suicide prevention in the Huon Valley.
The initiative, founded by Matt Yost, already held a major fundraiser with the Harcourts Hilltop Hike event, the Degustation dinner then bringing in over $26,000.
Tickets for the event had sold out the week prior, with Brian Rafter, Health, Safety and Environment Manager at Mitchell Plastic Welding and one of the organisers of the event, stating that response from the event had been overwhelming.
