At the 2021 Qantas Australia Tourism Awards held on Friday, March 18 on the Sunshine Coast, Dover accommodation Ashdowns of Dover received bronze in the Hosted Accommodation category.
Owners Gary and Lorraine Ashdown expressed their pride at winning the award, stating they are over the moon with their win.
“It’s been a tough few years for everyone with the tourism industry being hard hit,” Gary Ashdown stated.
“Despite all the hurdles, we have come through it all, winning the Tasmanian awards for the past three years, entering the Hall of Fame, wining gold in the 2019 nationals and now bronze in the 2021 nationals.”
