For International Women’s Day (IWD), Airbnb celebrated its female host community and recognised some of Australia’s greatest female Superhosts, including a host located in Nicholls Rivulet.
Nicholls Rivulet accommodation Yellow Door, run by Cindy Fyfe and her husband Craig, took out third place in Australia after earning an incredible 253 five-star reviews.
Yellow Door is described as a spacious, self-contained studio apartment boasting spectacular mountain and valley views across Nicholls Rivulet.
Ms Fyfe said that her and her husband were initially inspired to start their Airbnb accommodation through their own travels and experiences with Airbnb.
“We started our accommodation in 2016 and wanted it to be firstly, a place for friends to stay, but then it became a way to provide accommodation and make some extra income,” Ms Fyfe explained.
“I really wanted to make it a place that I’d want to stay while also making sure that our place catered to guests and any occasions they have at our place, like anniversaries or birthdays.”
