Community Bank expansion

by Huon News
February 1, 2022
in Local News

While many bank branches in rural and regional areas are closing, Community Bank branches in the Huon Valley are busier than ever.

In fact, the Huonville branch is expanding its premises to meet growing demands.

Community Bank Huon Valley has engaged the services of Michael Paul Builders (MPB) to extend its Huonville premises into the adjoining space at 15 Main Street, Huonville, which was previously NVS Hairdressing.

The added space will allow the addition of extra offices and a smoother workflow for staff and customers.

Tasmania’s first Community Bank branches were opened in Geeveston and Dover when locals got together and rallied for banking services close to their homes and businesses.

Starting as a team of six, Community Bank Huon Valley now employs 18 staff across four branches in Huonville, Cygnet, Geeveston and Dover.
