in Local News

Thursday, September 9, marked the last of 11 years of work for Geeveston Community Centre regular Terry Arnold, who has been working diligently as the Men’s Shed supervisor.

Geeveston Community Centre and its team said farewell to Mr Arnold with a cake and piece of Huon Pine as an acknowledgement for his work, with those both past and present who have been involved in the shed attending to give Mr Arnold their congratulations.

Mr Arnold, with the primary focus of the Men’s Shed being to bring men together, has been a constant of the community centre, helping to firstly, set up the Men’s Shed and then grow interest in the program, including the Women in Wood program that has been a recent addition to the woodworking program.
