In this week’s Huon News we catch up with Jake Norris from Hansen Orchards to talk about Asia Fruit Logistica and the opportunity to market Tasmanian produce in a standalone booth for the first time.

We take a look at the Huon Valley Council’s $4 million CDO investment following the settlement of its legal cases against Standard & Poors and Commonwealth Bank.

The second stage of Project X, Jimmy Cauty’s Aftermath Dislocation Principle, will land in Geeveston this Friday, and we chat to artist Billie Ranklin, who is coordinating The Children of the Aftermath.

In sport we celebrate with the Southern Storm Under 14 side and the Huon Valley Soccer Club’s Senior side, both taking out their respective championship titles over the weekend.

For all this local news and more, don’t miss this week’s edition of the Huon News, in stores now around the Huon Valley and beyond and available by subscription online.
