This week the Huon News wraps up the Cygnet Folk Festival, and meets Scandinavian super group Fru Skagerrak, we also farewell Huon Valley bush poet Phil Rush from the festival.

We have all the information on the updated public transport schedule for the Huon Valley and we unveil the Huon Valley Council’s plans for the Main Drain.

We chat to last year’s Huon Valley Citizen of the Year ahead of the announcement of the 2019 Citizen of the Year at the Australia Day Breakfast on the River at Franklin celebrations on January 26, and to Adrian Dean about his latest boat building project.
